- Metro Line 8 — CSMIA T2 ↔ NMIA — Approved. Approved airport-to-airport metro corridor (about 20 stations, 35 km planned). Not under construction; no opening date announced.
- Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1 — Partly running. Belapur–Pendhar section (11.1 km, 11 stations) in service since 17 November 2023. The airport is planned to be reached via the Khandeshwar extension and a Khandeshwar–NMIA link, where it would meet Line 8.
- Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1A — Approved. 3 km extension (Sagar Sangam–Belapur CBD) approved by the Maharashtra government in 2026; planned to connect with the proposed Line 8 at Sagar Sangam.
- Targhar railway station (suburban network) — Planned. The airport is planned to be connected to the Mumbai Suburban Railway at Targhar. It is also the proposed terminal of the Mumbai–Hyderabad high-speed rail corridor.
- Atal Setu (Mumbai Trans Harbour Link) — Running. Main road link between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai; onward six-lane Ulwe coastal road to the airport is part of CIDCO's announced programme.
- Ulwe and Kharghar coastal roads — Planned. CIDCO announced two six-lane coastal roads: the Ulwe coastal road linking Atal Setu to the airport, and the Kharghar coastal road improving access from Kharghar. Verify the current construction stage with CIDCO.
